Henry's Fish Restaurant - Georgian Bay

One of the highlights of this year's holidays on Georgian Bay was the few days we spent at Henry's Fish Restaurant. This spot is located about 40 miles north of Honey Harbour on Frying Pan Island. The local area is known as 'Sans Souci', which means 'without care' en Francais

The restaurant is only accessible by water, so everyone shows up by boat - or float plane. It is situated right along the small craft route, so one can see lots of boats coming & going, but they're far off enough that they don't cause a real disturbance. All in all, a beautiful spot & we will definitely be going back there again.

This view is looking down from the restaurant at some of the slips. They can fit about 50 boats here and also sell fuel . Gas here was - sit down for this one - $1.80 a litre. If you think that's bad, there's a place to buy gas right around the corner (Le Blancs) from here and their price was $1.90 a litre!
